The Children's Museum has three floors to explore and discover! Our permanent galleries and travelling and seasonal exhibits are filled with hands-on activities and interactive programs that will entice and engage visitors from infancy to twelve - and their grown-ups too! Each day, there are dynamic demonstrations, exciting experiments and super star shows.

Temporary Exhibits

Besides our fabulous permanent galleries, we host several exciting travelling exhibits from other museums and science centres each year, as well as some wonderful temporary exhibits showcasing our own collection.

 

Ski Skate Slide: Celebrate Olympic Pride!

January 15 to March 28, 2010
The Children's Museum has Olympic Fever! Explore our latest exhibit and cheer on Canada's best as they go for the gold in Vancouver! Learn all about training for competition and how to be your best. Test your skills at throwing a curling rock, take a shot at scoring on our goalie, create your own figure skating routine, and navigate through an alpine ski course. Proudly wear your own gold medal atop the Olympic podium! During the Olympic and Paralympic games we will be watching and cheering on Canadian Olympians, and adding medalists to our own medal board.

Experience the bustle and excitement of daily life in Asia! Explore how families on the other side of the globe work and play together. Shop at a Chinese market. Try on a traditional Indian sari. Learn a new language. The world is truly at your fingertips in this exotic and engaging exhibit!
