Exhibit Grand Opening

The Children's Museum has Olympic Fever!
Join us for the grand opening of our latest exhibit and meet special guests from the London Knights, join in our Olympic Torch run and and cheer on Canada's best as they go for the gold in Vancouver!

In this new exhibit you can learn all about training for competition and how to be your best. Test your skills at throwing a curling rock, take a shot at scoring on our goalie, create your own figure skating routine, and navigate through an alpine ski course. Proudly wear your own gold medal atop the Olympic podium!

During the Olympic and Paralympic games we will be watching and cheering on Canadian Olympians, and adding medalists to our own medal board. Show your Olympic spirit!

Meet an Olympic Coach!

Meet Canadian National and Olympic curling coach Jim Waite and learn about his team's journey to the gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.

Hockey Challenge!

Meet the Women's Varsity Hockey Team from The University of Western Ontario and learn all about the sport of hockey! Test your skills as a goalie and find out what it takes to be a successful hockey player!

Get Your Photo Taken with the Olympic Torch!

Saturday, January 16 1-5 p.m.
Get your photo taken holding a real Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch that was used during the official torch run through London! Sony Canada will be here to take your photo and print off a copy for your own Olympic souvenir.

Early Years Play Date: Movement!

Meet guest athletes from the London Speed Skating Club and learn all about this Olympic sport! Learn skating skills and techniques and what it takes to train and be the fastest on the track!

Meet Matthew Kennedy and his array of amazing critters! Learn all about scorpions, spiders, snakes and more and how they survive in their environment.

German Celebration!

Saturday, January 30 1-3 p.m.
Celebrate all things German! Learn to speak German phrases, play traditional games and participate in puppet shows, dancing and fairy tales. Learn about German culture and folklore through displays, crafts and the Lantern Parade. Enjoy a performance by the children's choir from the German Language School of London
and taste some sweet treats too!

Snow Sculpting Week Kick-Off!
