The Children's Museum has Olympic Fever! Cheer on Canada's best as they go for the gold in Vancouver! Learn all about training for competition and how to be your best. Test your skills at throwing a curling rock, take a shot at scoring on our goalie, create your own figure skating routine, and navigate through an alpine ski course. Proudly wear your own gold medal atop the Olympic podium! During the Olympic and Paralympic games we will be watching and cheering on Canadian Olympians, and adding medalists to our own medal board. Show your Olympic spirit!

Learn about poi, a traditional Maori performance art that involves spinning fire! Watch poi performer Bryson Ingram demonstrate fire poi outside in our playground! Bryson will discuss the history and techniques of poi and will teach visitors how to spin the poi (no fire involved!) This unforgettable show is sure to surprise and amaze!
