Ski! Skate! Slide! Celebrate Olympic Pride!

Until March 28, 2010
The Children's Museum has Olympic Fever! Cheer on Canada's best as they go for the gold in Vancouver! Learn all about training for competition and how to be your best. Test your skills at throwing a curling rock, take a shot at scoring on our goalie, create your own figure skating routine, and navigate through an alpine ski course. Proudly wear your own gold medal atop the Olympic podium! During the Olympic and Paralympic games we will be watching and cheering on Canadian Olympians, and adding medalists to our own medal board. Show your Olympic spirit!

Early Years Play Date: Storytime!

Tuesday, March 2 10:30 a.m.-noon
Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day and cuddle your way through great stories that will get your imagination running!

National Engineering Week!

Hina Matsuri Doll Festival!

Sunday, March 7 1-3 p.m.
The colourful culture of Japan comes to life during this traditional 'Doll Festival'! Enjoy a display of Japanese dolls, traditional tea ceremony and sumo wrestling demonstrations. Learn how to write in Japanese characters and create your own colourful kites too!

Get ready to be amazed by the magic of Captain Corbin! The Amazing Corbin will wander galleries and do magic and card tricks for visitors and he will do a full interactive magic show at 1 p.m.

Therapy Dogs

Meet the St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs and learn how they help others!

Origami Workshop! 10 a.m.& 3 p.m.

Learn the art of Japanese paper folding in this 90-minute workshop led by internationally renowned origamist John Reid. Create some amazing objects out of special paper and learn ancient techniques to wow your family and friends!

Workshops open to children 8-12 years of age. Pre-registration is required.

Get up close to a real working fire truck that could be called into action at a moments notice! Meet the brave firefighters who operate these trucks and learn what it takes to be a firefighter!

Meet a London Knight! 1- 2 p.m.

Meet your local hockey heroes from the London Knights! Take a shot on net against the players and get an autograph and photo too!

OSO Yoga! 2 p.m.

Join Tina from OSO Yoga for a workshop for all ages! Have fun learning the basics of yoga and play yoga games that everyone will enjoy!

Wednesday, March 17

Celtic Dancers! 11 a.m.

Celebrate St. Paddy's Day with special guest Celtic Dancers!

Ventriloquist Show! 2 p.m.

Sue VanDuynhoven performs a memorable interactive show with her special puppet friends that is sure to make everyone laugh!

Thursday, March 18

Mad Science! 11 a.m.

Join guests from Mad Science as they wow the crowd with a super science show! This interactive presentation showcases the awesome power of science and proves it is an important part of everyday life!

Poi Performance! 2 p.m.

Learn about poi, a traditional Maori performance art that involves spinning fire! Watch poi performer Bryson Ingram demonstrate fire poi outside in our playground! Bryson will discuss the history and techniques of poi and will teach visitors how to spin the poi (no fire involved!) This unforgettable show is sure to surprise and amaze!

Friday, March 19

Meet a Firefighter! 11 a.m.
