National Science and Technology Week!

October 19 & 21 11 a.m.
Join us for some special science activities all week long! Meet scientist Sanela Martic from UWO and learn about the type of work she does! See some awesome experiments too!

National Science and Technology Week continues with guests from the
Royal Astronomical Society for star gazing in the parking lot with special telescopes!
See if you can spot star clusters, double stars, Jupiter & a full moon!

Art Apprentices: Crafting Masterpieces

Saturday, October 23 10-12 p.m.
Learn all about the art masters in this Budding Artist workshop. This first session in a four-part series is themed around Vincent Van Gogh. Learn about Van Gogh and other masters through stories and games and create your own art masterpieces!

Workshops are for ages 6-10 years old and the fee is $25.

Meet Dorothy the Dinosaur from the Wiggles!

Sunday, October 24 10:30-12 noon
Bring a camera and get your photo taken and a hug from Dorothy the Dinosaur from The Wiggles! The Wiggles are performing at the John Labatt Centre on October 26th.

B.Y.O.Pumpkins!

Sunday, October 24 1-3 p.m.
Bring your pumpkin for a carving party and leave the mess to us! We have all the supplies you need to carve your spooky masterpiece and some designs to inspire! You can leave it on display at the museum or take it home with you! Also enjoy pumpkin cookie decorating and face-painting!

Early Years Celebration!

Tuesday, October 26 10-3 p.m.
Celebrate early learners all day today! Developmentally appropriate activities will be lead by our Education Specialists for caregivers and their children to take part in. Activities include the Science of Water, Move Your Body and Storytelling and Creating!

Family Halloween Party!

Thursday, October 28 5-8 p.m.
Dress up in your favourite costume for some ghoulish fun! Trick-or-treat on the Street Where You Live, explore haunted caves, create spooky slime and so much more! Join special guest David Carruthers for a Cool Ghoul performance. We will also be accepting food donations to the food bank.

The Children's Museum will be closing at 4 p.m. today and re-opening at 5 p.m. for the Family Halloween Party. Pizza will also be available for purchase at 5 p.m. until supplies last.

Super Science Spooktacular!

Join special guests from Super Science for some spooky experiences and Halloween fun!

Hallo-Tween Dance & Pizza Party!

Saturday, October 30 6-10 p.m.
Come for a pizza party wearing your favourite costume and then hit the dance floor! This Party Rockers video dance party is for ages seven to 13 years old and features all-request music and videos plus dance competitions and prizes, a snack shop and glow sticks!

Tickets are $20 for a pizza combo plus dance ticket. Pre-registration is required.
