In order to keep the Children’s Museum vital, dynamic and relevant for our 100,000 annual visitors, we must continually upgrade and renew our exhibits, displays, programs and activities. This requires a huge investment of time, effort and financial resources, and we depend heavily on the assistance of our community partners.
While sixty percent of the Children’s Museum’s revenue comes from admission and program fees, the remainder must be generated through government grants and fundraising. Our generous community partners provide support at a variety of sponsorship levels, through many different opportunities. If you’d like to explore sponsorship opportunities at the Children’s Museum, please contact Kathleen Barnard, Director of Market and Fund Development at 519-434-5726. Opportunities include:
The London Regional Children’s Museum is southwestern Ontario’s leading centre for delivering informal education programs that bring classroom lessons to life. The education programs are innovative, engaging and enhance the learning outlined in the Ontario elementary curriculum.
Exhibits from nationally renowned institutions as well as our in-house productions offer additional opportunity for hands-on, play-based learning.
When school is out, the Children’s Museum is in! Day camp programs feature projects and activities to keep the children engaged, entertained and learning.
A unique cultural attraction for the region, the Children’s Museum offers lots of special events, programs and activities that attract visitors from near and far all summer long.
Much has been said about the importance of the first years of life. The Children’s Museum offers numerous opportunities for even the youngest child to explore, discover and set the stage for a lifelong love of learning.
To keep our galleries relevant, up-to-date and dynamic requires upgrading every five years and redevelopment every ten years. Plans are underway for our next redevelopment, our Arctic Adventure gallery!
The Children’s Museum reaches out in the community, presenting hands-on learning to different groups and participating in numerous events, fairs and festivals each year.
We want every child to have the opportunity to experience our play-based learning activities and programs. That’s why we offer our Free Friday Family Fun Nights, as well as subsidies for membership, day camp and school group visits through our Share the Fun program.
Our annual event gives grown-ups the chance to play with their friends while supporting the Children’s Museum.
