Littles Lab

Science isn’t what you know; it’s a way of thinking! Nurture your early learner’s scientific brain in this weekly, drop-in program. Test, observe, and examine a new material each week in this hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program, specially designed for early learners. Look out for weekly themes!

All programs are included in general admission and are free for members. Admission can be purchased in advance online or by walk-in at our front desk!

Hibernation Station

Follow paw prints to discover which animals hibernate. Crawl into different dens to uncover the textures and materials animals gather to keep warm and prepare for hibernation. Cuddle up with a book and blanket and listen to soothing sounds as you relax the way hibernating animals do.

Puzzle Play

Discover how things fit together. Find, sort, and match puzzle pieces together. Look for patterns big and small and learn how to recognize colours, work on your memorization, literacy skills, and pattern recognition and fall into the world of coding.

Weaving Webs

Spend the morning twisting and turning strong, yarn, and fabric that you can crawl through and unravel. Develop fine motor skills, dexterity, and get creative.

Pumpkin Guts

Squish and squeeze DIY Pumpkin Gut Slime. Explore textures reminiscent of pumpkin guts, and customize your slime with various materials to mimic seeds, pulp, or the fibrous strands.
