Gift the Gift of Learning and Play

A letter from the Executive Director

“The London Children’s Museum prepares meaningful activities, engaging my students from the start of the education program to the finish. My students always enjoy coming to the Children’s Museum as a culmination of our in-class learning.” - Allison, Grade 2 Teacher

At the Children’s Museum, we understand learning happens when children play. Our innovative exhibits and interactive programs allow children to explore history and heritage, investigate the complexities of science and technology, and celebrate the beauty in art and culture. We combine education and play to create school programs, day camps, early years play dates, birthday parties and much more for children and their caregivers.

We are Canada’s first children’s museum and one of only nine today - a testament to our community’s creativity, innovation and perseverance. We are an educational and cultural centre that adds value to our community. We provide children and families in our region with a hands-on learning environment they can’t find anywhere else.

I have had the pleasure of working at the Children’s Museum for many years and have been so privileged to be a part of the growth we’ve seen in that time. In the past five years alone, attendance has increased by 25%, we opened a new exhibit, created countless new programs, and provided over $500,000 in subsidies to families in need. Every year, our 88,000 visitors remind me how important we are to the London community and region.

We need your help to continue providing immersive play-based experiences. I am asking you to make a donation to the Children’s Museum today

Your support will provide families and children with exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity, inspire imagination and motivate learning. This will have a real, lasting impact on our children and our community. Please consider giving the gift of learning and play.

Please know your donation is deeply appreciated by the children and families in our community. If you have any questions about your donation, I would love the opportunity to share more about how your gift positively impacts visitors at the London Children’s Museum. Thank you.
