Artifact Donation

Thank you for considering a donation to our collection!

Artifacts play an important role in helping us fulfill our mission to collect, preserve, exhibit, and share meaningful objects. Each donation strengthens our ability to connect children with their communities, culture, history, and the sciences in hands-on and inspiring ways.

Donation Review Process

We carefully review all donation offers to ensure items align with our mission and collection needs. Please note:

  • Submissions are reviewed once a month.
  • We are unable to respond to inquiries by phone or in person.
  • Donors will be contacted by email if their item is accepted for consideration.

Ownership and Display

When a donation is completed, ownership of the item(s) is legally transferred to the London Children’s Museum. This means:

  • The London Children’s Museum has full discretion regarding the care, use, display, or possible future deaccession of the item(s).
  • We cannot guarantee that any artifact will be placed on permanent display. Many pieces are used for rotating exhibitions and travelling education programs.

Thank You

Your generosity supports our ongoing mission to inspire children through hands-on learning. We are deeply grateful for the community members who help preserve and share these stories for generations to come.
