As part of Doors Open London, the London Children’s Museum is opening its doors for a day of exploration and discovery for our community with free admission! We’re excited to join this year from our new home, celebrating this year's theme: Sights, Sounds, & Stories that Make Our City.
About Doors Open London
Doors Open London is a free, city-wide celebration of culture and heritage presented by the London Heritage Council. For one weekend each year, historic sites, cultural spaces, and community landmarks across the city open their doors to share the stories, traditions, and experiences that shape our community. This exciting event invites visitors of all ages to explore London’s rich cultural mosaic through performances, demonstrations and interactive activities.
Registration Opens: Saturday, September 13th at 9:30am
To ensure entry, visitors are encouraged to register in advance.

Giant Nest Building
Stack, Weave, Twist, and Build!
Inspired by the birds and wildlife of the Forest City, this Open Studio invites young builders to use reused and recycled materials to create giant nests throughout the Discovery Lab!

Woodland Art with Bridget
Join Anishinaabe author and illustrator Bridget George for a drop-in workshop in Discovery Lab! Learn Anishinaabemowin words for animals and the land, then create your own colourful artwork inspired by Woodland art styles

Join us for an exciting performance of culture, storytelling with Hua An Lion Dance Group! Said to bring good luck and prosperity, this traditional dance is filled with bright colours, big movements, and bright sounds!
