Open Studio invites visitors to follow their curiosity, ask “what if?”, and explore hands-on materials in their own way inside the Discovery Lab.
With ever-changing materials and playful themes, this self-guided program encourages open-ended discovery through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM). While prompts and tools are provided, there’s no single way to engage! Visitors are free to experiment, invent, and explore in a way that feels uniquely them.
All programs are included in general admission and are free for members.To ensure entry, members are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance, as walk-in availability is not guaranteed. Discovery Lab programs are funded in part by a GlobalGiving grant made in partnership with 3M, as well as the Westminster College Foundation.
