This pop-up session is an interactive, hands-on experience that brings the magic of honey bees and native pollinators to life! Try on beesuits and meet an urban beekeeper, explore how pollination works, learn about Ontario’s native pollinators, and get your hands dirty making wildflower seedballs to take home!

Established in 2019, LOLA Bees (London Ontario Learning Apiary) is a sustainability education nonprofit. Their mission is to tend bees naturally, to create beautiful & vital pollinator habitat, and to offer immersive, nature-connected learning experiences for people of all ages. LOLA Bees tends two natural apiaries in London - one in the Old East Village and one at the Museum of Ontario Archaeology.
