Dear Friend of the London Children’s Museum,
For many children, summer day camp means more than just a fun week of play—it’s the first time they’ll connect with their community, make a new friend, or feel like they truly belong.
Every week, we hear from families who are navigating difficult circumstances and hard choices; families who want their children to feel connected, inspired, and experience the joy of summer camp. But for many families, this is simply impossible without community support.
Walking through the museum during summer day camp, I see the impact of these experiences everywhere — in the joyful smile of a child making a new discovery, in the proud voice declaring, “I made this!”, and in the quiet transformation of a hesitant child who begins to laugh, play, and trust.
This year, we have 38 fully subsidized camp spaces that need your support.
For $300, you send a child to camp for a full week. For $60, you provide a child with a day of camp and unforgettable memories!
Help give a child a summer they’ll never forget!
With gratitude,
Kate Ledgley
Executive Director
“I am beyond grateful for this opportunity as I hear about [my child’s] adventures from the day. They’ve met many new friends. Lost a wiggly tooth. Enjoyed hours of carefree fun. Forever thankful for the smile that you have put on their face.” —Subsidy recipient
